I am super DUPER excited! I put in my application to volunteer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep over two months ago, and have been waiting patiently for a response. Today I was accepted, and I’m filling out my paperwork. Yay!
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep is a nation-wide organization which coordinates volunteer photographers who volunteer their services. Us photographers provide our services to parents experiencing the death of an infant or to parents whose infant is close to death in order to help them begin their healing journey.
I know this will be very difficult to experience, but it will be worth it to be able to give parents photographs of their child. A photo is forever, and can be cherished for generations to come.
