Ron prepared Sheila for a “BIG” proposal… She had no idea just how big it would be…
Sheila and Ron met when they worked together over a decade ago. When they reunited eleven years later, they naturally fell into a relationship, as if it was meant to be. Ron was quickly welcomed into Sheila’s family and circle of friends, because they all already knew him! In fact, they had so many people in common it was a miracle they didn’t get together sooner!
Theirs is the best proposal story I’ve ever heard. Ron has been racing Motocross for years, and it’s very much a part of his identity. He was part of an awards ceremony at the Oakland Supercross when he asked Sheila to join him on stage in front of 143,000 people. When asked if she was his wife, he said not YET. He turned to her and said that the last two years had been the happiest of his life, then he asked her to marry her. All 143,000 people were watching them on the Jumbotron and cheering. It doesn’t get bigger than that!
This November they will wed, and Sheila is already talking about me photographing their little baby. I can see this little family living happily ever after.
Sheila and Ron definitely have fun together.
Ron competes in Motocross, so his very public proposal at a Motocross event was awesome.
