Mark proposed in a bathroom. He had masterfully thrown Blythe off his track and was able to pull off a great surprise.
She knew he was going to propose. He’d asked her father for her hand in marriage, and they talked about the ring. When they spent two weeks in Costa Rica, she was sure it was going to happen. Beaches and beautiful scenery is the perfect setting for a proposal! He held back because he thought it was too obvious, which annoyed Blythe because she’d had a manicure and everything. When they got home, their light bulbs had been unscrewed and a glow-in-the-dark sign that said, “Will you marry me?” was on their bed. But when he pulled out the ring, she couldn’t see it in the dark. So they went into the bathroom for light and he got down on one knee and slipped the ring on her finger. I have to admit, I’ve never heard such a funny engagement.
