I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… There’s nothing like a print. This print is 134 years old, they didn’t have the technology we have today, and it’s STILL around! Amazing! It’s a hand-tinted print (no color film back then!) and it’s held up remarkably well all these years! Yes, it has some water damage, and some fading, but I was able to make a new negative by taking a digital photograph, then I restored it the best I could. I didn’t want to take all the wear out of the photo because it would look like a cartoon, not like an antique photograph. My wonderful client Marilyn is pretty darn happy with it, and that’s what matters to me!
