Adam proposed to Joy on the beach in Monterey on the 4th of July, the fireworks over the ocean at seaside. This was the perfect proposal for them, because they certainly make fireworks together.
After five years of a casual friendship, Joy decided she was going to get to Adam’s heart. She asked him out to coffee, and to dinners, but it wasn’t going anywhere. So she baked him cookies, and that softened him right up. The way to his heart WAS through his stomach! And they are ADORABLE together. Photographing them was incredibly easy because they have a natural way of falling into each other. They kissed long after the camera was turned away, and without any direction, they held each other and gazed into each other’s eyes.
They LOVVVVE coffee and their classic cars, so we went with a retro vibe to this engagement session. Enjoy!
