Sarah and Nick spent the day in Monterey, sight-seeing, eating, hanging out – just a normal day for a couple like them. Normal except that Nick was carrying his backpack with him EVERYWHERE they went. Sarah was wondering why he had to have his backpack, even if they were just stopping to eat. Little did she know, her sapphire engagement ring was inside and Nick was terrified the backpack would get stolen from the car before the time came for him to propose.
At the end of their day, they sat on a bluff overlooking the ocean, waves crashing all around them, the sun sinking. He presented her the ring she had been coveting for months, and of course she accepted.
They’re planning their vintage 1940’s, Great-Gatsby-inspired wedding for this October. In keeping with the theme, we put together a romantic vintage engagement shoot. And of course I couldn’t shoot a vintage engagement session without using my vintage 1940’s Ciro-Flex camera! (Those are the square pics.) Enjoy!
