The Ice Queen Reigns

After much preparation (ten days), and multiple obstacles (driving two hours to an unknown location, sinking in the snow, makeup coming off, freezing half to death), the infamous Ice Queen shoot has come to fruition!

This shoot was entirely shot with film and available light. I feel incredibly accomplished – this is my first shoot in the snow, which is very challenging. Snow can easily throw off your light meter, so testing the light and knowing how to meter is important. I gave myself a big pat on the back when I got the film back.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this shoot happen! See the behind-the-scenes ridiculousness and how McKenzie lost her shoe HERE.

Just a glimps of some of your talent. Love, love, love the beauty of it all! Such a great setting and model. This is one for the books, Dawn.
