Wow, what a crazy ride it has been! When I started working with couples in Yosemite, I had no idea how truly amazing it would be. I swear, I have the best clients in the world. I’ve had a fabulous time with every single couple, laughing and having fun, creating beautiful art together. I’ve captured precious, heartfelt moments, sometimes as the only one present. That is incredibly special to me. I’ve signed two marriage licenses and shed many tears of joy. It’s been the best year of my life.
When I was five years old, my father bought a twelve-acre piece of land in the teeny-tiny town of Coulterville. And I mean SMALL. We had one stop sign and no gas station. Good-bye San Francisco, hello 100-degree heat and smelly horses.
And Yosemite.
It was his favorite place on earth, and it instantly became mine. We lived not far from the gate, and spent more time than I can recount there. I lost him in 2005, and Yosemite became the place I went to remember him. All the hard work I’ve put into building my Yosemite elopement business has been worth it because I know how proud he would be.

I’ve learned SO much about photographing elopements in Yosemite, and I help each and every bride plan, from beginning to end.
