We photographed miniature donkeys once. True story.
The most popular wedding date of all time was 7/7/07. EVERY wedding photographer was booked that day, including us. Until a month before the wedding, when the groom ran off with a stripper from Vegas. No, I’m not kidding.
At the time my contract stated that if the wedding was canceled, they could have credit for a portrait session. We felt bad for them and offered to photograph the miniature donkeys on their farm. When I called my friend to tell her about it, she laughed hysterically and said, “Only you, Dawn… Only you…”
